Work in progress, after Mark Spain

This is a work in progress copied from a painting by Mark Spain. 

There is a story here (well not here but in the original painting).

I have left out a car parked on the beach which adds to the story.

Lots to do on it yet , hands , hair , head, the cliffs look too close , the car , add some waves, lots lots lots ......

Final choice for Holmfirth Art Week

I have made my choice after a bit of feedback from a few friends.

Bob didn't make the final cut as I think you would need a particular fan to see it sold and perhaps an art show won't attract reggae fans. Who knows  I may be wrong ?

Midnight seduction after Mark Spain 

All "four" one , one for all.

I just wanted to put these up together for a comparison. I have to choose two paintings to go into a show and can't decide. these four have made it to the final cut, so if anyone has any comments or advice please do so now and quickly. I have until the 28th May to decide and get it posted off.

Pet Pooch 2

Well, "Pet Pooch 1" went awry so I started again, and I'm happier with this version.

I did in fact try this pose first but there was something about his/her legs I didn't like.

Think I have rectified that in this version.

Once again my scanner is letting in light as the paper is juuuussst too big for the scanner, so what you see here in respect of the dark shadow to the right isn't really there.

Must buy scissors !
