So staying on the Ballerina theme. Here's an oil painting of ballet feet.

It measures 15x13" approx. in the frame.

Well not quite I've done the odd landscape before but not for a while.

This is an oil 7x5" with a mount just to frame it.

I liked this painting by Bob Kimball so much I bought it and this is my version of it. 

I can't show Bob's for copyright reasons and I therefore can't sell this. 

I just had to have a go myself.

It measures just 7x5 inches

It's still wet in places and so has a glossy type look but I think it's done now.

I'm loving this , painted using some Winsor and Newton Griffin alkyd colours.

Never used these before to complete a painting so very happy with how it came out.

Cloud surfing 2

I did this little fella some time ago as a small acrylic and it sold to a friend. I miss him so thought I'd do another , this time larger and in oils.
It is 12"x 10" unframed.

It looks like it is in a frame but its just sat on a black book.


I don't know if he's jumping up to the clouds or flying above them ?

He's probably a Scottish, British tennis fan, well done Andy Murray !

Which now gives me a dilemma, do I call this wee fella, Andy , Murray , Fred or Perry ?

All "four" one , one for all.

I just wanted to put these up together for a comparison. I have to choose two paintings to go into a show and can't decide. these four have made it to the final cut, so if anyone has any comments or advice please do so now and quickly. I have until the 28th May to decide and get it posted off. 

I found this whilst surfing the net but cannot for the life of me remember who it was. I will keep looking to discover who it was and update it when I find out.

In the meantime , my effort looks ok if you haven't seen the original.
