Holiday sketches

Just a few other sketches that I did whilst away on holiday.

The Venice one was done from a magazine on the plane , I didn't go to Venice ! 

I quite like the man on the plane , the sketch not the man ! Ha 

Sophia

Met a lovely couple on holiday who had a beautiful daughter and who accepted my mad request to take her photo so that I could draw her. She was wearing a hooded robe at the end of a day on the beach and looked so cute she ad to have her portrait done. 

Run to the sun

I did a larger version of this entitled , "shadow chasing me" about 12 posts back. 

A lady in the USA asked if it was going to be for sale on my DPW site but as the larger one is a bit big and I'm putting it into the Monk Fryston Exhibition on the 4th 5th Oct I thought I'd do another smaller one. 

This one measures 10" x 7" and is on acrylic pad paper, much easier to post if it sells of course.

I also think this is  a better title. 

The daisy picker

Poor L'il Rabbit

This unfortunate soft toy rabbit has been on my blog before somewhere but I have just offered him for sale on daily paintworks (the painting, not the toy) so though he deserved a second outing on the blog. I have his lost ear somewhere but alas not his eye, he does ok without them though !
