A simple tree after Robert Kimball

I liked this painting by Bob Kimball so much I bought it and this is my version of it.
I can't show Bob's for copyright reasons and I therefore can't sell this.
I just had to have a go myself.
It measures just 7x5 inches

An oil landscape

Branching out a bit , moving away from my usual figurative and portrait stuff to try my hand at something different. Maybe I'll laugh at this in a few years but right now I like it. Maybe put a bit of distance below the hills , yeah that's it.

Another misty forest !

This is obviously a variation of an earlier painting inspired by Tim Gagnon.
It's a n acrylic on a deep edged canvas board , the edges are painted as a continuation of the scene.

It measures 8 inch square

Two cherry blossoms

Two simple and small cherry blossoms trees with cloudy skies.

The club I attend has an exhibition moving up in conjunction with a flower festival, hence the colourful trees.

These are just 7x5 inches and are acrylic on canvas board

And here's what it looks like framed

Poppy field

Another wild experiment , I have been asked to do a LARGE poppy filed painting and I'm building up the courage to do it. I did a small one last year and that just sold on an online website so tried to go a bit bigger with this.

I like nothing better that slapping the paint on , not looking for realism here just an impression.

Anyway , any comments are welcome, good and bad.

It measures 31x12 inches and is acrylic.
