Tim Gagnon is a particular favourite of mine and I have followed his blog and website for about a year now.
His paintings sometimes fly in the face of fashion and convention. His skies are phenomenal and mastery of painting clouds is exceptional.
One of my favourite paintings is the one of the red foliage tree which actually features in a few paintings in one form or another.
I don't know if this is a real tree or if its borne out of his imagination.
Anyway here's my take on it in various stages.
