These have been photographed in all kinds of silly lighting so none of them look the same.

Oil painting measures 7x5" inspired by a YouTube video tutorial by Jos Van Riswick  who I think is a Dutch artist. His youtube videos are under the name josvanr

Four Apples

This started out as a painting of two pears but went horribly wrong. Thats the beauty of oils I guess. Paint over start again.

Loose Flower

I tried a copy of one of Carlo Marine's paintings and hated the way it was looking so just went with what I felt doing and attacked the canvas.

This is the result and I have to say I quite like it.

Pebbles ! They exclaimed

I got these four pebbles and many others on a holiday in Florida in 2007 and they have remained in a drawer ever since until I saw the work of a Brenda Ferguson.
Inspired, I had a root through them until I found these four. Perhaps the left hand two on their own would be a better painting ?

I have gone back to my comfort blanket here, another painting inspired by Carol Marine.
She may have moved on but I haven't. (see her blog)

Still, it's all practice and thats all im doing with the paints for now.
