Beachy steps

A little 8"x6" painting done this morning in acrylic. Those trepidatious (is that a word ?) first steps into the sea at the height of summer that we finally appear to be getting.

This is a work in progress copied from a painting by Mark Spain. 

There is a story here (well not here but in the original painting).

I have left out a car parked on the beach which adds to the story.

Lots to do on it yet , hands , hair , head, the cliffs look too close , the car , add some waves, lots lots lots ......
